Ah, Paris! The city of romance, the city of lights. It’s a majestic place with overwhelmingly beautiful landmarks, exquisite architecture, delicious pastries, historic streets, and world-renowned museums.
One of the prominent museums is the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, located in a wing of the Louvre Museum, showcasing an impressive collection of decorative arts and designs from the middle ages to contemporary times.
The museum presents the “My Teddy Bear” exhibition from 4 December 2024 to 22 June 2025, celebrating the teddy bear’s history and its rise as a beloved toy since the early 20th century. The exhibition displays 400 teddy bears from the museum’s collections, documenting the toy’s journey, starting in 1920.
Amongst the stars of this exhibition is our very own FLATOUTbear, an iconic Australian flat teddy bear handmade from 100% Australian sheepskin.
Our little flat bear has traveled to more than 50 countries and sold over 450,000 bears worldwide. FLATOUTbear has been welcomed into many families and has stolen the hearts of celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Garner, Megan Gale, and more!
The “My Teddy Bear” exhibition is a magical event not to be missed. It is a wonderful opportunity to relive childhood memories, appreciate the historical significance of teddy bears and enjoy engaging activities for both adults and children.
