FLATOUTbears are made of 100% Australian sheepskin. Besides being unbelievably soft and irresistibly snuggly, sheepskin has self-cleaning properties, is naturally anti-bacterial and it repels water, making it the perfect material for a child’s teddy bear.

We have a number of yummy colours including Milk, Honey, Latte, Chocolate, Koala, Rosie and Bluey. In our FLATOUTbear Baby range we also have Leopard and in our original FLATOUTbear range we have a Licorice bear.

We always recommend that you follow the SIDS guidelines and use a common sense approach when giving a FLATOUTbear to your child. For newborns, we recommend you put the FLATOUTbear under your baby’s head when changing them, have it close when feeding or use a little breast milk to help with attachment. FLATOUTbears are made in China from 100% Australian sheepskin. We have been working with the same family in China for more than 15 years, where the sheepskins that make FLATOUTbears are tanned, hand cut and sewn together before returning to their home in Australia where the FLATOUTbear team in Sydney inspect, groom and pack each bear ready to be sent to you, wherever you are in the world!

Yes, we ship our beloved FLATOUTbears all over the world. You can buy a bear directly from us, enter your delivery details and shipping will be calculated at checkout or you can find your nearest stockist here. If you are ordering a FLATOUTbear as a gift, you can see our flat rate shipping costs here or add your FLATOUTbear to cart and enter your international delivery address to calculate shipping too. We sure do! If your FLATOUTbear is being sent as a gift, straight to the recipient, we always gift wrap and you have the option to add a handwritten card if you would like. All FLATOUTbears come in a cute carry bag, so really, every order from us is like a gift! They are perfect as a new baby gift, a baby shower gift or a child’s first teddy bear.

We will ship your order by Australia Post. We aim to send orders out every Tuesday and Thursday and provide a tracking code so you can follow your bear’s journey from our warehouse to your home!

For Australian customers, your order should arrive within 2-5 business days after dispatch. For international orders, your bear should be delivered within 7-12 business days after dispatch. You will be emailed the tracking details to follow your bear’s journey to you.

Each and every FLATOUTbear is made from 100% Australian sheepskin, a natural material that has self-cleaning properties, however FLATOUTbears tend to get a lot of love and your bear may require a deeper clean from time to time. We want you to be happy with your order, so we accept returns within 14 days of receipt as long as the item is unused and in its original condition. You can find further details on our returns policy here.
