As a well-loved member of the family, your FLATOUTbear may occasionally need a little extra care to stay beautiful for years to come.

Spot cleaning is perfect for removing significant marks, stains or dirt in one area.
FLATOUTbear spot cleaning is best done on a warm, dry, sunny day.
Find the areas of your FLATOUTbear to be spot cleaned.
Mix wool wash with cool water. FLATOUTbear wash available here.
Dip a soft cloth in the water and gently clean any dirty marks.
Rub gently until dirty marks are gone. Don’t saturate your bear.
Gently pat the area with a dry cloth to remove excess moisture.
Lay your bear flat out in the shade to dry completely.
It may take a couple of days for your FLATOUTbear to dry naturally in the shade, so please be patient. Avoid using artificial heat or placing your bear in direct sunlight as this can shrink and/or harden the hide and reduce the soft, snuggliness of your FLATOUTbear.
You should only fully wash your FLATOUTbear if dirt cannot be removed with spot cleaning.
The sheepskin of your FLATOUTbear can be affected by washing and the texture of the wool may change after washing – so please take this into consideration before deciding to fully wash your bear.
It’s best to wait for a warm, dry, sunny day to wash your FLATOUTbear.

Place your FLATOUTbear in the water and gently move it around.
Rub your FLATOUTbear gently by hand to dislodge dirt.
Rinse your FLATOUTbear in cold, running water to remove detergent.
Gently roll up in a towel to remove moisture. DO NOT WRING DRY.
Place on a clean, dry towel and gently pull back into shape.
Allow your FLATOUTbear to dry naturally in the shade.
