Supporting Two Children Through Sunrise Cambodia
From 2013 to 2018, we had the privilege of supporting two young children through Sunrise Cambodia, a non-profit children’s charity. Thanks to your purchase, we were able to contribute a total of $9,600 to help provide for their essential needs and education.
The two children we supported, Soklim and Vireak, came from heartbreaking backgrounds of neglect, violence and loss. One had suffered abuse and abandonment, while the other was seriously ill and alone. At an age when children should feel safe and loved, they had already experienced pain and hardship.
Thanks to Sunrise Cambodia, both children began to heal and grow – physically, emotionally, and socially. They gained confidence, became healthier, made friends, and discovered what it means to be part of a safe and caring community.
We are proud to have been a small part of their journey and we remain grateful to Sunrise Cambodia for the incredible work they do every single day. Their love and commitment give children not just food or shelter, but the chance to dream again.
