The “My Teddy Bear” exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris opened on the 4th December 2024 and will run until the 22nd June 2025.
The exhibition showcases 400 teddy bears from the early 20th century, highlighting the history and special bond between these toys and humans.
Thanks to French Flair Paris, FLATOUTbear is proud to be part of this exhibition.
Handmade from 100% Australian sheepskin, FLATOUTbear has become a beloved teddy bear worldwide, having travelled to more than 50 countries and sold over 450,000 flat bears. Adored by celebrities like Brooke Shields, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Garner, Megan Gale and more.
The exhibition highlights the evolution of teddy bears, from being made of mohair and wood to more flexible and softer materials like sheepskin. It provides a nostalgic journey through the history of teddy bears, allowing visitors to relive childhood memories or discover new favourites like our soft, snuggly, and soothing FLATOUTbear.
Visit the Musée des Arts Décoratifs to learn how the teddy bear became a beloved symbol of childhood and gentleness.
Our team also enjoyed a four-day tour of the city.
We took a Tuk Tuk tour to see the city’s famous sights, visited the Dior Museum to learn about its history and haute couture, and explored the flea market for vintage finds. We climbed the Arc de Triomphe and watched the Eiffel Tower’s light show − it was spectacular.
We just love Paris.
